2. Westral has sole rights for manufacture of the type of blind.

Industry Standard:

This is blinds made with components available to any company in the industry. Although Westral takes care in producing only the best the industry has to offer and if materials do not our high standards then we won't supply them.

So, if we don't offer the same fabrics as other companies in the industry supply it might be best to question the quality if it is not an exclusive to the company that offers it.

In The Interest Of Child Safety:

Since 2004 child safety act was introduced in parliament. The governing legislation was brought about through a couple of cases where a small child's curiosity has caused them to be hung in blind cords. As a parent you can not physically watch your child 100% of the time in that view by making sure all cords for blind controls are out of reach of small children when not in use. The suggested height is 1600mm  all blinds with looped controls installed after 2004 must be higher then 1600mm or attached to the wall and not a hook for you to hook it on after use as some companies supply. For existing blinds a simple hook to get the cord out of reach is a good DIY fix.
